Thanks to the generosity of our community, Midland Care prepares holiday gift bags for our Meals on Wheels and PACE clients each year. We rely on donated items and volunteer support to make this possible.
Here’s how you can help:
- Donate items from the list below
- Purchase items directly from our Amazon Wish List
- Assist with receiving, sorting, and inventorying donations
- Volunteer on "Bag Day" to help assemble 2,000 gift bags
- Sign up to deliver a Meals on Wheels route with gift bags
Below are some of the items we typically include. Please note that all items must be new. Due to space limitations, small sizes of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are preferred.
Items Needed:
- Lip balm
- Combs
- Gloves, hats, and scarves
- Playing cards
- Notepads
- Pens, pencils, and sharpeners
- Men’s socks
- Small tissue packs
- Small bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion
