Before joining Midland Care, Nichole spent a decade providing private care for a blind, older woman. This experience shaped her commitment to compassionate caregiving and honed her skills in care coordination. She also holds certifications in CNA and CAM from Trinity Career Institute and a Home Health Aide (HHA) certification from We Care Online.

Nichole’s favorite part of her work is connecting with participants and hearing their stories. “I love working with great teams who share the goal of keeping participants in their homes,” she says. “The highlight is talking with participants and listening to the stories they share.”

Lawrence PACE Center Administrator John White praises Nichole’s attitude and work ethic: “Nichole is always willing to jump in and do whatever is needed. Not only does she do this with the PACE team and participants in mind, but you can also always count on her for a laugh and a smile. She brightens up the day with her positive attitude. Nichole is amazing!”

Everyone is always willing to help problem-solve difficult situations, so you never feel you’re doing it alone.”

Originally from Yuma, Arizona, Nichole moved to Baldwin City, Kansas, at a young age. Outside work, she finds joy in tending to her flowerbeds, painting, crocheting, and playing putt-putt golf—so much so that she has a green in her backyard! She also loves spending time with her fiancé and her two dogs, Cleo and Garby.

Nichole describes herself as humble, caring, and understanding, with “a dash of sass.” She hopes others see her as kind and always willing to help. A passionate sports fan, she cheers on the Kansas City Chiefs and the Kansas Jayhawks.
